The education systems
in Kearney work diligently to bring quality education to the
region and state. Kearney's youth attend one of the community's
eleven elementary schools, four
middle schools, or three
high schools. For post
secondary education - Kearney is home to the
University of
Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and and the Kearney Center, an
extended learning center administered by the
Central Community
